07-31-12 Child drowning
At approximately 9am this morning, the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office received a 9-1-1 call in which the caller stated a small child had been found in a pond off of F.M. 1008 and was not conscious or breathing.

Liberty County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for Mr. Ellis, Rayford Tyrone Jr (06/14/1991) for the Felony 2 offense of Aggravated Assault-Deadly Weapon.
07-15-12 Shooting Incident – Liberty County S.O.
In the early morning hours of July 15, 2012 a shooting incident occurred at #62 C.R. 3316 off of C.R. 331 in Liberty County. Liberty County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene and located one adult male shooting victim laying in the driveway of a residence at this location. The male victim, name being withheld pending family notification, was at last report in critical condition, transported by Life Flight to Houston.
